I was having a few rounds in my HBK-4G and realized, the AC20 is so fun to shoot. It makes a big bang and a flash, and can drop even the biggest, scariest mechs, in less than 5 well placed hits, and it is so fun to hit things with. Whether it is legging a light that is smuggly running circles around you, or the satisfying *pop* as you bring an atlas to its knees, I love when the shot connects and the enemy mech shakes. In my head, I have this image of the enemy assaults under-valuing the threat my HBK poses, until they see the flash of my AC20 and their armor go to red. I wanted to know what weapon you have similar fun with. I'm not asking which weapon you get the most kills with, or which is the most effective. I want to know, what kind of weapon makes you happy to shoot, and why. Maybe it is the visceral sound of tearing up your weakened enemies with multiple machine guns, when is sounds like the bullets want to peel back the steel and chew the internals. Perhaps you like barbeques and nothing makes a mech feel toastier that a flamer. As a bonus, it makes great s'mores. Perhaps the cutting beam of light from a LL that leaves the steel hot-orange suits you more? How about multiple AC2s if only to feel the Dakka-dakka while sending tons of round down range (literally?) I would love to go on, but I feel I should leave some colorful and glorified descriptions (perhaps overglorified) for you guys.
I suppose that was exactly what I was asking... well then Edit: even checked, and it wasnt buried on page 2 of general disscussion. Guess that is what I get for comming and going to MWO in fits.
