    (VIDEO REMOVED)

Hello, Been running this build with a friend of mine and the DPS is just frightening (he runs a slightly modified version with a 340XL). Between the both of us, we've clocked at least half a dozen games or more in the past 2 days with over 1k damage. Let the ACs do the heavy lifting, pile on the LL if you have spare heat. Careful not to get too excited with the LL though, it's a pretty large heat spike.

Is this with a firing macro or trigger discipline?

All the ACs are group and fired at the same time, you just hold down the trigger until target is dead. LL are grouped as well and is used when you have heat to spare. The mech is cool enough that you can just about fire all the ACs until you run out of ammo w/o overheating. You will only run into heat problems if you get too excited with the LL or in a sustained fight while standing in lava.

This combination of ACs is deadly as hell. Lots of DAKA! Additionally, there are quite some possibilities to utilize this trio, not only on the BLR-1D, but on the VTR-9B or the DRG-5N as well. I like it!

When staying with the BLR-1D, a version using a STD300 is also possible, but which differs in playstyle.

This build should use the ACs from range and later closes in for finishing opponents in brawls, as the STD grants much higher survivability for this chassis.

The biggest XL engine I have is the XL325. I'll use the extra tonnage to upgrade the LLases to LPLases. I'll give it a shot with that (about 3 million cbills from now) let you know how I fair.

Moved one of my XL350 engines around a bit yesterday and tried the build in the OP. Great build! You have to take care of that DAKKA-arm, though... not as badly as with YLW for example, but take care how you're rolling incoming damage.

5/5. Would easily be 6/5 because the underlying concept will make me rebuy a DRG-5N.

Gonna run into heat issues with the LPL. I used LL because they run cooler than 4 ML and offer about the same engagement range as your DAKKA arm.

Registered on this site just to rate this build, 5/5 from me!!

I am not a great pilot, I'm best in lights and I still had 3 or 4 basics to unlock on this build...

The build's absolutely fantastic. An immense amount of fun.

Only complaint is to swap one ton of UAC5 ammo for a ton of AC/2 ammo; the UAC5 will jam now and again, but the AC/2s will keep going, and will eat through their ammo faster.

Great build, got 950 dmg in only my third outing.

Modified it a bit to suit my tastes though:

Basically replaced one of the large lasers with two mediums for more ammo and armour (lost a heat sink due to lack of slots).

    I have no XL350 but I have a spare XL325, so I made this:

Dropped down to AC5 for critslots and stuff.

My image won't upload, but I got to 12.5K with that build. Excellent sniper, and it can fend for itself. Stay out of my cross hairs! :phear:

I use a variation of the build Aylek has, and I love, love, love it. The downside is that with the change to crit slots you're actually short one space. I really didn't want to change anything though so I just run an 84 ton 1D with max armor. I use that extra ton to hold my snacks.
