you'll be burning through your coolshots I know you'll just be firing the ERPPCs for long shots or the LL/ML separately for close work, but damn, I couldn't manage it.
Pff..Like you know that a coolshot tastes like Helium... *HUFF"S DAT COOLSHOT* What time is it? 4:20!!!!
AAHHHHHHHAHAHAHAHA!!! Oh my god. I just laughed like a "special" kid reading that one. Anyway, the build... Yes, it's hot like Mila Kunis. However, given the ranges it covers spreads your heat a lot. Moreover, up close, that 20 point blast is there to save your ass with a kill-shot if you need it. Too often do you need that instant damage to finish off a mech that lasers simply cannot provide. As you say, run coolshot. Even without, this build can easily handle itself in any situation given it's load-out. As soon as I crawl out of a hole (been away on a business trip) I'll be buying this mech and I think this will be the first build I try.
I prefer a more realistic approach for heat concerns. Basically a C1 with ERPPCs instead of LRM15s...
I'm sorry, Define Realistic in a Video Game about Big Stompy Robots? You are beginning to sound like an Engineer
You still don't get it, this build is RE-AL-IS-TIC Now, if you excuse me, I need to record my footage of this mech in action. Hopefully I will show people once again how to pilot mechs again, MB.
ER PPCs are bad on this mech. You don't have enough heat sinks, nor a ballistic to fall back on like other better ER PPC mechs. Keep it simple, 2 larges, 2 ppcs, ams, XL 300 All screenshots below were taken within hours of each other. Check the last image; Terra Therma ain't no thang for the Jester. It's also why you don't run ER PPCs. No cool shots were used in any of the matches, just good old manual heat management. http://i.imgur.com/x8XQw6B.jpg[/img] http://i.imgur.com/QVmriUh.jpg[/img]
