The Issue with the Crashes and Freezes really makes me crazy. And there is no option to reenter the Match, after restarting the Client. In other games you can! Grrrrr. I'm wondering how often does it appear, while you are playing. Pls let us know. Blagg
about every 3rd game gets either the enemy team a disconnect or my team does. So 25+ seems about right.
If it's also about other people's disconnects most certainly around half of the games. Personally I disconnect 90% of the times I save a ShadowPlay video or sometimes at random.
Not sure if you mean ~me~ or do I see ~someone else~ disconnect. I would say probably every other game, so, around 50%, there is someone DC. As for me? Very very rarely.
For me I think I have only had one disconnect in the last 2 months. I do get the occasional freeze, but its always a quick fix by opening the task manager and alt tabbing back. Once the task manager is open it never freezes for some reason, now if I'm thinking about it I just open it up when I start playing. I do notice the friends I play with in England seem to have more trouble, but it appears to be more to do with their particular internet service than Mechwarrior itself. I do agree though, there should be a way to rejoin the game if your not already dead.
I selected 1-5 because I occasionally get a crash to desktop bug but it hasn't happened recently. So... probably should have selected 0.
I hate that too, got it in at least 1 in 10 games. You are loading the game and you get kicked back into mechbay instead.
If your talking about Me it is maybe 1/1000 but if you are talking about the games i see some one disconnect 1 out of 2 games so 1 person in 24x2 48 what is that .5 so i selected 1-5 (rounded up lol) Just thought of this so adding: It might be a Symptom of Elo and Poor internet or poor Ping, What i mean is that I am a good Player, others i am Paired up against are good players (elo), I have a stable internet conection, and Low ish Ping 50-60, Could Low ping, stable Internet, help with good game play, if so then the Higher elos will have less disconnects.
I get a graphics freeze once every 10 games or so, but alt-tabbing out and back in again fixes that. I also very rarely get a hard crash to desktop (maybe 1 in 100 games), though I have no idea if that's MWO's fault or Windows'.
It may be because I've been playing more often, but I have been experiencing the same thing lately with the graphics freeze at basically the same frequency with a crash to desktop at least once per sitting (once a day right now) all at the most inoppourtune times.
With the graphics freeze. I found ctrl alt del and bring up the task manager unfreezes the graphics every time, alt tabbing doesnt always work. Just a little tidbit that may help someone (i get it a lot, no amount of repairs, driver updates etcfix it) Regarding the disconnects i dont often get them but i get regular client crashes. First round of the day... Crash mid game, like clockwork. (Getting auto dropped from group is also annoying) also get a lot of crashes after a match waiting for mech list to repopulate. Some days its a client restart after every second drop. When i drop with a friend from the other side of aus, i see probably double the disconnects and crashes.
Hail, No Discos, but I do get the odd crash to desktop. I see others dropping on a regular basis and about 75% on my team, it seems to be ping related. Seyla,
Yes the Graphics Freeze, I alt tab back to unfreeze and i found i walked half way across the battlefield and am getting shot up,,
I've been getting dropped spontaneously from games a fair bit recently. Though the frequency is quite random. More often than me dropping though, would be running into people who drop. Whether they actually dropped against their will or were C-Bill farmers is another matter. Another thing I've noticed though is how my ping has doubled. Playing from Malaysia at a 250-300 ish ping was horrible enough and now I have to deal with 500-600.
It'll unfreeze when I die... always nice to hear that go down... sometimes when I pull up task manager but half the time that works my cockpit is jammed in some weird angle.... still can fight but it's definitely annoying when my torso is stuck one way and my cockpit another. ....
The last few nights I've seen disconnect from others at least one per match. People bitch about it, say that they are C-Bill farming, but I've been booted to desktop during team pop at least once per sitting or more. It's annoying to say the least of it.
I think this thread cursed me. Ever since I posted this, I have been having about one complete crash or freeze a day. The last one was extra strange, mid way through the match my zoom stopped working, both versions of it, I stilled played for a couple mintues, then boom complete black screen crash to desktop.
