Leg armor is low on this particular version, the ML is easily taken off to increase leg armor, usually do that if take a death to legging to often.
You can drop to a STD300, keep all the weapons and all the DHS, while at the same time maxing armor. No more low-armor-in-the-leg problems. It's a minor speed loss, and considering this is a sniper build, I don't usually find 2.1 kph less to be a problem. Great build. 5/5
True, and I usually do make minor adjustments if getting legged, however amazingly enough I very rarely get legged in this mech, I suppose there to busy shooting at my torsos. But yeah the engine decrease is good idea as opposed to removing the ML, as the ML comes in handy if get both torsos taken out.
If you are going to drop the ML, you may as well use the 3F for the better twist. With a STD300, you can add a BAP too.
