As always, I start with a Speedy XL build and I make an STD variant for people that don't like to think about scary things such as what happens when you die which is closely related to what happens when I put an XL in my assault? A similar build had been posted earlier but that was more focused on long range sniping, this loadout is ready to roll at medium to short distances. XL variant pilots like a heavy though psychologically it still counts as an assault, so it will attract matchmaker and enemy targeting's attention.
I believe a hand actuator has been added since this build was made, which uses 1 slot. Also the AC2 has become very weak, and with the current fire rate I'd only mount 2 t of ammo. I suggest to lose 1 slot and put the remaining tonnage into armor on the right arm for shielding, and at least 4 armor on each leg since embers have been running rampant.
