    - Pour one shot Jaegermeister (substitute one AC20 round)
    - Drop it into one pint Red Bull (substitute beer or two Large Pulse lasers)
    - ???
    - Profit!

Higher alpha than plain 2x AC20, with less ammo dependence. This build requires some heat management, but it's definitely manageable if you chain-fire the lasers most of the time. Switch out one ton of ammo or switch to a STD240 for another heatsink if it fits your play-style better. Even if you run out of ammo or lose the right arm/torso you still have some serious punch in the lasers.

With speed tweak this 'mech has all the speed you could need to pop out above a ridge, tear off some armor plates or an arm, and hide again. If you need more speed, switch out the heatsink or one ton of ammo for the STD260.

Move one of the LPLs to the other torso if you prefer a more symmetrical energy layout, and if you want to maintain high alpha strength with one half of the 'mech concealed.

I haven't tried this build with an XL engine but the Jager's huge side torsos makes it risky which I don't like. I assume you could fit more backup lasers, heat sinks, or top off the armor if you need to.

Feel free to suggest any possible improvements you notice.

Great Brawler considering the Chassis isn't really made for it- still better than the 2xAC20 BOOM Jagers considering you have better heat, no problem with ammo and a std engine.

With Jager side Torsos you kinda just get used to it and its not as big of a deal until your playing vs organized pop tarts but Jagers are doomed against those with any build anyway.

I bothered to put together an XL300 Variant with 14 heat sinks and plenty of crit padding:

The draw back is obvious, you're more vulnerable. But the speed helps to mitigate that a fair amount. 82 KPH vs 68 KPH is no small matter- this coming from a guy who uses the XL255(69KPH) in nearly every jager build I come up with.

It's advantage is your ability to get that fire power on target- to join a fight before it ends so you can be the secondary target instead of the primary. It also gives you greater ability to get in, Alpha, Get out.

    Alternatively, 15 Heat sink version:

Obviously, you're a close range mech- so maybe the XL is out of place and your STD 250 leaving you with an AC/20 or 2xLPL is worth it. So I wouldn't call my suggestions improvements, just something that might be worth trying for the speed and additional heat sinks.

Personally I won't run a Jager as a close up fighter, I believe their too fragile but I've seen skilled players make unexplainable things happen so if you can swing it, swing it.
