Forget ghost heat, you won't be generating any heat anyway. Just alpha this thing and win.

This mech can easily be refit with CLB5X's or CAC/5's.

    Pretty much...

On the PTS, I saw a couple of these things and there are PLENTY of videos out on this build. It's just disgustingly effective.

Tomorrow, you have my 5 stars. (until the inevitable nerf) ;)

Oh man. Tell me about it.

I don't care how "cheesy" it is or if it's an "OP" build. The idea of 6 UACs just makes me giggle like a little girl! :D Tonight is gonna be fun.

I posted this same fit to a friend before I saw this one here. Looks like it will be a blast to go with.

My god... I just ran two matches in this beast.

This is absolutely the cheesiest, cheapest, stupidest build I've ever run.

I giggled like a schoolgirl. SO funny! I felt like such an asshole as everything just disintegrated. Then laughed some more.

The thing is slower than the worst parts of the bible and basically is just a massive turret... but it kills all it sees.

    Love it. :D

Drop 1 ton of ammo and add a targeting computer for the crit increase. You will end up having a mech that does massive damage and crits like machine guns. Its hilarious. Otherwise, damn good build.

Everyone had to know something like this was coming. I put it together earlier, but haven't had a chance to test it since the change to holding the mouse button down. I figure it looks pretty fun and ridiculous either way. May have to try it with AC5 or LB5Xs too (when funds permit).
    Enjoy

Post your builds in the "Builds" section please. That is, if the build hasn't already been posted.

    Thanks ;)

Damn work getting in the way again. I guess technically mine is the DWF-B and his is the DWF-Prime. LOL, Omnipods are gonna get confusing.

You now have my 5-stars. Slow, unable to aim, but, amazingly hilarious to run. :D Turret from hell!

Retarded amounts of dakka. If my U/ACs didn't insist on jamming all the time and that I love my Bubble Burster, I'd run this even more..

    Hi everyone,

Not to necro (My first post here!) But does this build still work? I've been trying it and I seem to run out of ammo pretty much every match, and long before the enemy team is dead... In fact I tend to run out of bullets after killing *maybe* 2-3 mechs, tops. Then I kind of awkwardly follow my team as some kind of toothless giant.

Is there a more effective close range build I should be trying? Or is the direwolf strictly a sniper mech compared to the Warhawk now?

Satoris, DWF can do well as either a brawler or sniper. Sniping you'll want to use ERLL, LPL, and Gauss (the Ghost Walker build still works well...Ritz works, but you may want to switch the PPCs to lasers now), but if you're running out of ammo in this spec, you might try the "Five by Five" build, which sacrifices a uAC5 for 5 cERMLs, or 8 cERSLs. Both versions work nicely.

My favorite built for this mech, just one fire button and every enemy getts killed in seconds. I use 1000 rounds of bullets by having less armor in the legs and arms which works very well. This build and the "Alphadog" gives me the most 1k damage games. I have this one in my direwolf b variant and it has a kill to death ratio of 3,2 actually. Just awesome ^_^
    5+ stars!!

I have tried the 5x5 build and loved it, but this just looks fun. Will be trying it out very soon.

Have they reworked ghost heat for UAC5s since early Dire Wolf days? I've just rebuilt my DW-S into this build, and I'm discovering that it's overheating a lot faster than I remember my DW-Prime doing when I had it build like this.
