This is exact reproduction of the Timber Wolf configuration Clan Jade Falcon hero Aidan Pryde used in the Battle of Tukayyid. I make no comments on its usability, usefulness or whatever else, i merely wanted to post this in case someone wants to use the same config. EDIT Reading The Legend of The Jade Phoenix trilogy again, i noticed that Pryde's small laser is described as being in the left torso. The record sheet puts it into CT though.
That is because (and I was told this by someone who read and played the game, as I did not) the author didn't have the hardpoint locations for the Timberwolf, so the readout corrected it when it came up. The build looks good too, good mix of long medium and brawl. Tho I would tell anyone running this to drop 2 JJ for more LRM ammo if that is your goal, right now you only have 9 volleys.
I reckon the Timber Wolf was based on the original stats anyway, they had a small laser on the Prime config (on left torso, i think), since originally things like Endo-steel and engines were calculated using .25 increments, not .5. And yes, dropping JJs would make the mech better, strictly speaking, but that's because the goddamn jump jets in this game are broken, more JJs are not usually beneficial enough (i tend to run with more than 2 but i don't really notice any difference between one and many). Most people seem to be fine with single jump jet. If it were up to me, i'd make the JJs so that three would be required to do what one does now (and less than three would be nigh useless, for most chassis anyway), and each one added on top of that is even better (and pop-tarting would be fixed by having reticule shake by merely being in air, JJs active or not, falling or not). But as noted, this is merely replicating the canonical record sheet. This is very close to my goto build for the TBR. I play it with a prime variant, swap the cERSL for a TAG and exchange the jump jets for more LRM Ammo.
