    A Dealer in Death to be true, this build has three battlefield purposes.
    1. Narcing to enable Friendly mechs to see and react to enemy mechs, formations and movements.
    2. Narcing to enable LRM target locks and counter ECM
    3. Sniping with the ERPPC to disrupt enemy focus (and get assists & kills ofc)

    Recommended role: Spotter (scout)

    Recommended modules: Enhanced NARC, seismic sensors

    Recommended playstyle: You are a slow, weakly armored light. Do not tangle with enemy lights if avoidable, stay on the fringes of battle, show the friendlies what is going on in the enemy ranks. Assist with ECM and get the deathball going by showing the enemy positions. Use your double NARC launchers to spit out dual beacons and show just how few there are opposing on the other side of the corner. Always, always be on the move, clan NARC launchers reach 600 metres - use that!

    Gameplay tale
    I tried out my dual NARC Kit Fox last night and had a blast going around NARCing as many mechs as possible. At one time I had five or six with beacons, giving a tremendous amount of intel to my team who used it to good effect. Murder by LRM, they could edge out (River City) around Citadel and find angles knowing exactly when their target was moving/appearing, it was pure murder.

    On HPG I managed to succesfully NARC a flank of the enemy and draw my team into a deathball with me NARCing in CQB. I lost both arms and was killed but we won the match so purpose filled. :)

    Here's a short gameplay video of two matches, the first really shows how a team will respond to NARC'ed enemies and the second shows the benefits of two launchers (a bad ending for me but still).

    Alternate versions: With JJ's

    I've been looking for an interesting D build that has a distinct difference from my Prime and S builds. This is one that' I'm going to have to try out. Although I don't think you need two NARC tubes, you should be able to do the exact same thing with one tube. That would free up some tonnage for either jump jets for some jump sniping, a targeting computer for faster targeting and more range on your ppc, or a tag if your put on the S pod in your left arm. I'd most likely play the jump sniper role when dropping solo, and the tag/spotter role when grouped.

    EDIT: After watching the video I see that the second tube lets you get another narc off before the cool down finishes on the first tube. However, most of the time you didn't need to get a second narc off before the cool down. So personally I would prefer to add two jump jets to pop up and narc/ppc.

    The whole point of this build is the dual NARC, look at the video. It's about the power of quickly revealing a whole flank, two mechs at a time and minimize the exposure of this fragile mech.

    You're free to play it with one, that's viable but not as powerful for the purpose of quickly providing intel to your whole team and not just targets for LRM. Narcing a group of mechs takes twice as long with just one tube, double the risk and less duration for all to be exposed at the same time. :)

    After watching the video I see why you have two tubes. It does make narcing multiple targets much faster. However, I've noticed most LRM boats are only going to be shooting at one or two of the targets you narc. So multiple narcs aren't always useful for allowing your team to do damage to multiple enemies, but it can give your team valuable intelligence about where the enemy is located and where they are moving to. For that reason I think the dual narc is probably better utilized in group play and less so in pub matches. Anyway, I'm not knocking you build. I like it and think it provides a different play style from some of the other Kitfox builds. Just wanted to say how I might tweak your build for someone who plays a little differently

    My playstyle would probably do better with the jumpjets, as I could use pop-narcing tactics to minimize exposure. I noticed after I dropped the second narc tube I have enough room for two JJ's and a tag. So the JJ's will also allow me to get to higher locations and do some tagging, as long as I can remain hidden. Here's how I will probably play it.

    Once I get home and have a chance to play your build and my variation to it I'll rate

    No problem, knock all you want. :)

    I don't mind it as long as there's good reasoning behind it. I do miss the JJ's a bit but I decided against the TAG and JJ's to have both the PPC and dual NARC launcher. :)

    If you jump or tag, you become visible mind you. ;)

    @Lan
    I have been looking for a non-combat focused build. This is amazing.
    What Sensitivity, Smooth, and Acceleration settings are you using in the video?

    I run:
    Sensitivity 1
    Smooth 0
    Acceleration 0

    If that seems strange I must tell you I am using a Logitech G700s with alternate settings for DPI so ingame settings doesn't bother me so much. I just tweak the DPI.

    I like to have Jump jets so I took one of the narc ammos off and replaced it with two jumpjets by changing the legs to Module-S.

    The one problem I have is that I tend to want to fire my ppc when I'm narcing which tends to get me killed if I'm in a big group of enemies. But that's just my poor tactics. Also this mech really does need 2+ LRM boats to work best.

    JJ's are a valid upgrade, will allow you to get to places that are harder to reach but be sure to use them when alone. They light you up pretty good. :)

    Cool that we get more dual NARC'ers out there, I took this mech out during the challenge this weekend and nailed 11-3 for a win-loss ratio. Had a fun match where a cpl of players laughed about "Lan" providing them Wifi. ;)

    I ususally start a match by saying;
    Lan says, "Will NARC, watch for the Wifi."
    Lan says, "If not for LRM's, then for intel."

    And for some reason, they thought that was funny. One guy gave me a nice signoff at the end, "NARC MvP." :)

    Very much looking forward to re-testing this baby after the recent game "adjustments". Upgraded me mouse. Got me the DPI switching capability. Amazing and highly recommended.

    @Lan
    Again, thanks for the advise. :notworthy:

    Good luck with the new mouse, people sometimes forget the value of good gear. Even though you certainly can play without fancy gear, it helps with that final few levels of skill. :)

    Don't forget to revote on the build after you run it ingame, as votes has been zeroed after the move. :)

    Yup. Love it. Still a 5/5 from me. :peeking: Love the disruption it causes in the red team's ranks when they stop to chat about how viable a dual NARC build is. Gives the blue team even more time to re-position. :rofl:

    Yeah. :rofl: First they started debating whether or not they actually saw a dual narc build. After I baited them with a "Yup, been narcing the shit outta you guys" response, they then started in on how stupid the idea was. Gave us plenty of situational awareness and allowed us to redeploy and take the match fairly quickly.

    5/5,
    Dual NARC sounded strange at first, but after running this build I can't see ever going back. Never had so much fun in a clan light.
