So, who will do tests on the TC's? A lot of builds will be redone to accomodate a TC or IS CC now. Some good fixes allround, even the mechlab but they still haven't hired Smurfy. Shame. Oh, and the DWF's CT has been slightly reduced.
Holy wall of patch notes!: Front End - - Still don't have functional "Smurfy's" style mechlab, but I *do* like the changes. - ESC usable to back out of menus now? - Still not sure on filtering, if it filters trials when looking at owned to be out of my way... - Checkout changed to Save? About time! And the button is bigger? And gives you feedback when you need to save? Woot! Fall Damage - - Not sure on feelings yet. Need to run with this. Everything else - - Ehhh... Clantech. I do like that the Command Console has utility and fits to any Heavy or Assault mechs. I am not entirely sure if it is worth it still.
Ok my brain isn't working after a long day but what does this mean: Clan SRM/2 and SRM/6 impulse value reduced from 0.192 to 0.11 They're a lot slower?

I'd guess 1-2h for this one.
I don't like the change with clan SLAS, damage was better, it needs more competition vs the clan MLAS, and ofc it can't on the range side, 5 damage was better. Will need to test fall damage...and ofc let's hope the new matchmaker works this time !
For a change... i am very impressed with the patch and they are doing.. Shocked even that it reads so good, like they are finally getting the memos.

I love the UAC fixes. This would make them much more reasonable again. It does help for them to fire automatically, even though it is without the double mode. Makes mid range firefights much more easier to the fingers (short range you are going to slam those buttons for rapid fire anyways). Clan LBX/AC/UAC2 upgrades are much welcomed. Interesting to see that the IS version got it as well. The cLBX2/5 upgrade would be great, I was testing those couple days ago and they can't hit the broad side of a barn door. cERSL range for damage trade is a good thing I guess. Not sure what to feel about the cMPL, heat increase, do we need that? really? Fall damage, meh, not big on it. It is good I guess. Just don't try to apply impact damage to mp next time or I will start to rage. This is not a flipping driving test. TC and CC are nice it seem, once again, deminishing returns for things above TC4. CC seems interesting, but really heavy. Not sure if worth the 3 tons, esp when some function being available in modules. Should at least include things like 360 target retension on it. FUCK, according to previous matchmaker changes, that means we are not playing the game today, yet again. I rather have 3-5 unbalanced games than having to line up for like forever to get one 3/3/3/3. I just want to be in my mechs shooting other peep. PGI should really know that if we get to only play one game per hour or so with the rest of the time waiting then many of us will not play/pay.
I'm trying to try it from work with LogmeIn but it's not working. I tried this before and the equipment option wasn't there for it.
Basically the frontend UI design team sucks giant donkey balls, and we know this already from day one I think. I don't think they have figured out a way to do comsumable restock yet, and they are not doing the much needed reordering of item either. I am sure next tiem they would just add things like "mouse wheel function" and tell us that they ahve fufilled some much requested features! Personally I don't care much about consumable restock (especially MC ones, only doinks would use them) but I do want the build item reordering ALOT. Either that or just let us choose the barrel for our guns. AMS on/off would be nice as well.
I checked, you can buy it in the DC. It's 1 million c-bills though. All, check the range increase on the cSLAS. Even if they took it down to 4 from 5 damage, we got 200/400 in range with that thing. The Nova cSLAS 12 version just jumped the usefullness scale for sure.
Clan ER Small Laser damage reduced from 5.0 to 4.0 Clan ER Small Laser range increased from 180m/360m to 200m/400m Clan Small Pulse Laser damage increased from 3.4 to 4.4 It made no sense though that the ER did more damage and had more range than the pulse. There was essentially no reason to ever take the pulse as for the same weight you could get the ERML. Personally I think they went soft to deflect tears and increased range. Really didn't need it imo. Sadly my 12 ERSL+4MG Nova may need a rebuild.
