Yeah, you're looking at about 12 full shots from the SSRMs, I'd put 1 or 2 tons of UAC ammo into SSRM ammo.
I prefer the ammo this way. It suits my playstyle. I know others will prefer differently. Its a good thing ammo is easy to adjust.
JM6-A This is an alternate build of the similar available builds, with Standard Engine. *Not much ammunition. But if one is accurate, it makes fun...
I was thinking of an AC/2+LL version, but it had way too low efficiency and fairly low ammo. I think there's a similar build on here, but this one is designed for the inclusion of BAP. Against lights, SSRMs make quick work and MLs add to the damage. Against heavies, the UACs and SSRMs can quickly strip CT armor, again supplemented a bit by the MLs.
Im running a slightly modified version with 180 UAC5, 200 SSRM2 ammo, BAP & 11DHS. Great performance using JM6-A strengths. 5/5
I still find very little advantage to the UAC since the last nerf. However, with STD AC/5s, you can really rock out some destruction. (with an XL300 and extra heat sink) I played this a bit this weekend. Still mainly a PUG pig, I wouldn't run it with my Merc Corp mates, but, it's a solid combination of ranged firepower and brutal up close. However, I believe there is already a thread for that, so I'll stick to this build. The UAC double tap can be a lifesaver in those very few key situations where you have an enemy's internals exposed and need a quick punch.
Very good build for a Jagger. Built out a similar one a few nights ago and have had pretty good results. A few games with 500 damage and 2 kills. (PUGs) The dual UAC5s give great range and firepower. the SSRMs don't come in play too much, but scare away most lights, and Jagges have problems with lights.
