Those numbers are ridiculous.

 

So far confirmed by the Kitfox and the MC released ones....time to start saving 45millions CBills for the Timbers ppl, 5 more that i had wondered they would cost

 

This comment has nothing to do with this thread directly, but, it gave me an idea.

One way to lower the tendency of ppl to roll around in meta Clan mechs would be to bring back R & R, and basically make shit like a meta TBR give negative money unless the person completely wrecks everyone else and lives. Then it wouldn't be economically feasible, and usually reserved for serious shit.

This gives a risk vs reward mechanic that justifies imbalance.

Just a thought.

 

That might work tbh. A sort of tax on usage.

Remember they take almost nothing to outfit - 1.1 to 2.2m each for me so its not that bad overall.

 

Not when you consider how expensive clan weapons are, and they come with DHS/FF/Endo and C-XL in price.

The Prices look horrible at first sight, but they aren`t really too high and undoable.

If you buy an IS Mech, you would upgrade to ES & DHS anyways. Take for example the Atlas: 2.5 Millions for these Upgrades. That makes the Atlas-DDC costs you 13 Mill., while the Timberwolf is slightly more expensive (2Mill.+). If you have a Mech, where it makes sense to load an XL Engine - woah! That costs you additional 4Mill. upwards! So for some IS Mechs you have over 5 Mill. Extra Costs.

I find the Prices are OK! C'mon 18 Mill. for a DireWhale! 5 Mill. more than the Atlas. It's not cheap, but c'mon guys, do you prefer the Prices listed on sarnanet (e.g. DireWhale for almost 30 Mill.) ???

If you get avg. 60.000 CBills per match (that's pretty bad), you have to play 300 Matches for a DireWhale. If you play 10 Matches an Hour, then you need 30 Hrs of Playtime to get your Whale. So if you only play 2hrs a Day in average, you will get one Whale in 15 Days. That's the average Player. But if you are an experienced Pilot and play some more in average, you will get one complete Clan Chassis (all variants) bought after max 30 Days of playing. This is absolutely doable.

If you want to speed up the time, then buy some PT and you get the Money in half the time. I had 5+ Mill. at Friday, now after the WE Challenge and the PT Reward i got up to 40 Mill. today. Yeah a Hardcore WE, but absolutely worth it (now i have all the Novas in my Garage).

Only the Casual Players who spent some few hrs the week will need to wait longer. But hey, you can`t get everything for free & fast in this world, right?

 

Looks the number closer, clan equipment cost exactly the same as its IS equivalent if it exists. And if it does not (UAC/10 for example) the higher cost is on the same proportion as IS does (from AC/5 to UAC/5).

Pay to win. Hourra.
