thanks ! infact it was really strange, but the centurion is for any MC purchase right? I guess it's not possible to sell the chassis at all because that would count as a free mechbay, but better then nothing . anyway I stripped them both just to be safe(It's first time I made even without knowing eheh, but I stripped armor too now just because), but I can't sell the chassis, tomorrow while I should keep the cent
Well you can actually if they're genuine ones ending with (c) rather than ones ending with (P), (G) or (I). Pun intended.
Y Yep, I totally sold that champion cent they gave us before. Question: why do they keep pushing cents on us? I would be happy to receive almost any other mech.
Unless its been a disaster I've been killing 2-5 mechs per match in my AH as I've levelled it so always happy when people discount it as a threat. By disaster I mean I've been caught 8 to 1 in a group queue ambush as I've had to scout after our only light was covering the other flank (no argument there)... and all our other mediums decided to stay well back with their clan longer range weaponry or IS ERLL SHD's. Apparently the CN9-AH is a scout mech.... right.....
That sounds like the Scouting CN9-A(C) I piloted a couple days ago, where I had a UAV (refilled from competitive drops), no scouts and everyone was just being scared. I ran into what I thought was 4 mechs, turned out to be 6 or 7. Dropped UAV, survived (barely), and when they had the intel (however obvious their position was, E5 tourmaline) my team finally pushed for the win and I survived with 23%
Lol very nice. In fairness I did ALMOST get back into cover but died just as I turned the corner out of sight of them. We also got ripped to shreds anyway as a team. Interesting on the UAV though - do you routinely carry them or just a one off? I'm a relatively recent convert as used them in the locust binge.
Competitive drops sometimes disallow strikes, so UAV is standard fare (especially since 1 or 2 are shot down easily, so you pack around 6 across the team). The mechs I use in that environment have them on autorefill, though I tend not to use consumables in PUG matches (gotta get c-bills ) Haven't been in a competitive drop for a while now, since my skills are degrading from too much work and too little play
Yeah I use them in competitive drops in my lights or even group queues at times as I can coordinate with my "lance". Rarely use them in PUG drops. Not sure how they work with the new rewards system at all.
I think they bumped the UAV bonuses a bit? It's still not like you can recover the investment from that, though. Personally, I generally carry but rarely use consumables in PUGs. Most of the time, either you're winning by enough that you don't need them or you're losing by enough that they won't swing it...in either case, a waste of C-Bills (or heaven forbid, MC). But every once in a blue moon, you get that perfect cluster of oblivious ambushers just begging for an arty strike, or just the right brawl where you need coolshots, or a team that really can use that UAV info. I like having the option for clutch plays, but I agree that most PuG drops are a waste of a consumable use.
Well there are some moments I use artillery. Leading the charge in my Atlas S (in group so on comms) if I come to several mechs I try to drop an artillery on them to force them to back off while more of my lance push after me to spread damage between us/bring more firepower to bear. That's usually the moment you find the timer isn't up.....
