    Basically this is designed to dogfight other lights, esp things like Locust.
    You can swap out BAP for more ammo or DHS if you want. But I think it is enough

    Type II is even faster.


    You can do these builds on a COM-1D if you want.

    The 225/BAP load out is what I run. Great for killing Jenners!

    I tried to fit XL235 and came up with this:



    It has SHS because it's pretty much enough for it (with Coolrun and Heat Containment) if you use it as mid-way to another build.
    You always can change it to DHS and get freaking 65% heat efficiency:

    To be fair he is in a DD Jager, those things are designed to hunt big mechs, and are dead meat when it comes to hitting a fast light.
    But I start to think that jenners are not the kings of the lights like they used to.

    Do you guys find that a single ton of ammo is enough for this build? I've been running Neekoli's build for a couple of matches and find it works well, but it really sucks getting shut down by ECM when out hunting. I'm tempted to drop the second ton and shave my head and put a BAP in there instead.

    Hey, with the half tons of ammo now available, this build can totally be updated to have enough ammo *and* BAP. It just costs a little bit of speed, which I'm still not sure about. But, on the plus side, I no longer feel that it has to be undergunned.

    Looks like a strong build, Zappo. XL225 gettin you that 9th internal DHS. I might shift more armor to the front, and just focus on not getting shot in the back.

    Man, this build is still a blast to play! It's so spry and the SSRMs fire so quickly with the SSRM cooldown module that I keep running out of SSRM ammo and am tempted to try a build like this:



    I don't think it's necessary as 2xMLas on this mech is a decent backup to running dry. But, hey, I'll put it out there for all interested parties. Remember, your commandos still need your love!

    Don't be completely blinded by the quirks for this variant as the half quirks made what was already an excellent build even better. Better streak range, fire rate, and a buff to lasers? Sweet! The range buff to streaks is much easier for me to use than extra range for SRMs that is for sure.

    In spite of not having the full quirks, I still think this is the premiere build.

    That's true Don and also BAP is now beastly!

    I have to admit I am temped to do this in the 1D because I am a quirk-junkie and that one gets pulse laser buffs....

    PS nah.. the 3A is better for this.

    I agree. I have the same debate as to which variant is better for this build, mainly pondering if I could free up a mech bay for another shiny. I think the quirks to support the missiles on this build are much more valuable than the lasr quirks on the 1D for what this mech is intended to do.

    How is this guy without BAP and SRM4's or SRM2's? Must fire like a machine gun.
