Not a bad set of quirks. I don't see myself getting this mech, though. Not needed for me.
Yeah, not purchasing... Also mocked this up to draw attention to its pitiful 20deg stock pitch. For a light with only torso mounted hardpoints, this could REALLY hurt on a hill, looking over a building, or into a ravine/canyon. Just one more thing that makes this mech unappealing to me.
The SHD would be nice pre quirks, but I don't see a reason to buy it either, maybe a 4x LLas build with -7,5% duration, but there are much better options.
Ouch ta Solahma totally missed that. Now that DOA new clan light has surprisingly great jumping capability. Works really well on the new map. Still very slow but in the air....
Going to have one hell of a time fitting 4 in the thing. Difficult enough to fit 3 in a SHD-2K (actually fits perfectly). TBH the SHD hero looks like a Dragon-Flame... almost exactly. Only 5 tons lighter and with JJ optional.
something like this (all lasers in the arms). @105km/h and 41% cool. eff when mastered + weapon modules could be decent. would probably need heat quirks tho rather then duration, even 7,5% heat reduction on lasers would make me buy that, but at least it would be an unique SHD build...but like this ? I don't really think I want it. as espected, at least to me, it look like quirks just swapped tiers between mechs rather then balancing them.
Actually not as bad as I was thinking! Still MUCH better in the Sparky though w/ heat generation and cooldown 7.5% as well as the better torso hardpoints.
I will say one thing for the new Locust - I just moved the ammo and I was done... cheapest mech I've ever outfitted....
Yeh, that's the problem, especially with SLas. It would have been better with MLas quirks, since longer range would make the pitch less a problem.
Not found it as much of a problem as I expected after that picture. The torso mounted FS9 lasers sort of prepared me for the fixed mounts.
