Anybody here ever tried SweetFX with MWO? I'm growing more and more tired of 1) Fog/mist and 2) BLOOOOOMMMM. This program, if it is to be believed, can actually lessen those effects. I don't understand modern game designer's obsession with bloom and anything I can do to destroy it would make me very happy. I just want to run around and enjoy my maps instead of trying to constantly shoot at ghosts all the time.
that's that thing you've had after school and will have again in retirement if you keep wasting your life for work
Very High Quality Low Quality Look at these 2 images, and tell me what you thing is right, and what was left behind.
High quality looks almost real. Low quality looks like a painting. Also, it's easier to distinguish the atlas body in High quality, at least in these two shots.
Oh, yeah, that thing...... What I just love, beyond anything else in the world is when the GF/Wifey looks at you and says she misses you when close to %100 of your off time is spent with her.
I was thinking the same thing. Also... apart from the Atlas&Vines, I can't tell what the hell i'm looking at in either picture LOL
Still dreaming of the day, when MWO is playable @60+fps with (7yrs old!) Crysis 1 Ultra Max Graphix Quality!
I thought I was the only one who ended up having to go thermal half the time except for very bright maps. I even thermal in the Caustic Coldarra. I think the new map is pretty but as soon as I've moved about 1/4 of the map from spawn everything is gray and white to me so I can see what to shoot. Kind of annoying that every map that comes out, I will probably be staring through thermal...
Believe it or not, without bloom most of the games would look worse. I did 3d visualisations for some time and making bright pixels shine makes the overall impression much better 80% of the time. Its the same in MWO.
@Blagg Zear Thanks, I was cleaning old files from my work computer, and I stumbled across an old wolf stencil that I made in visio for my tennis racquet and the idea just popped. I was wanting to update the old signiture & was looking to do something completely original ( I used some graphics from the web to creat the old one and was never satisfied with it ), so I snapped a screen of my jester, Made custom frame & Hex grafics in Visio, and then threw it together using Gimp 2.8 the whole signiture is upwards of 27 layers in four groups & constitutes an accumulated 3 hours of work... 4 lunch hours.... The Font is called Metal Macabre. I may add the quote (The Firmament Awaits) to the sig, since it seems that Grimm has removed the option for formating text in the sigs. Completed Graphics Edit: P.S. No Blooming Here.
Beautiful Skidog . . . very nice artwork. Also, on the topic of Viridian Bog and "beautiful": "I think it's calling to me . . ."
