Viridian Bog and Video Quality Effects

Yes, It's a very pretty map... maybe sometime I'll actually get to drop in it and see it myself.

 

Such a waste, that Thermal is not colored anymore.. I want my Predator Vision back! NOW!!!

 

I have disabled cockpit glass and WOW does it make a difference for the VD bog.

 

How does one do this? I actually need to do this but haven't really looked in to it as I have just been dipping my toes back in to this game.

 

I created a user.cfg file in the MechWarrrior Online Directory and copied this into it:

gp_option_ShowCockpitGlass=0
r_DepthOfField=0
r_HDRGrainAmount=0.0

This also adjusts the film grain and depth of field as well. If you don't want to touch those, feel free to leave those lines out.

 

cockpit glass can be changed as an in-game setting without messing with cfg files now.
