With the advent of the IS quirks, I thought it an appropriate time to begin the 1000+ club for the Firestarter. To start: Done with this build: Small lasers are good now!
The 8SPL FS9-A is insane. I had just finished basics, no elite skills, no artis, etc and I got this (and forgot to record it, aaaaahhhhh!). I've never gotten close to this score with any mechs, much less one that's 35 tons
That is impressive. It really is too bad you didn't record it! I've recently started to install recording and rendering software back on my machine since I am starting to play MWO little bit by little bit and having some crazy 1000+ matches in PUG land.
I normally use the shadowplay software that nvidia puts out for recording. I figured there was no way I'd have any good rounds before I had all elites and double basics so why bother recording any matches, ;(
Shadowplay is nice, that's how I record all my games now...just hit a button after the match, and bam, you got the video Only thing I hate is that it requires MWO to be fullscreen instead of windowed full
if you want to record windowed applications, even full, you have to activate the aero desktop composition in win
Hail, Alpine Peaks and they spread out which allowed me to hunt them down in small groups. The Spider stole my last kill after I did all the work on him in the CPLT-A1. This is not with the FS9-A Wub build. Seyla,
Mainly because I have internet ADD, and I tend to multitask when I'm playing anything, so I'm alt-tabbing to forums or youtube/netflix, maybe chatting with people on Twitch if I'm watching their streams, checking email...all the usual stuff while waiting for queue to pop. If the game is in fullscreen, this eventually causes it to crash after a few rounds. If it's in windowed full mode, it doesn't do so. I tried to do the desktop record thing, btw, but it was a bit...buggy. One round, it recorded what was on my desktop BEHIND the game, but not the game itself for some reason. I may try it again though...I hate having the game go nuts whenever I alt-tab I also have a dual monitor setup, so that contributes to my need to do things while waiting for a game
I can relate, I do the same thing. Do alt-enter to switch to windowed mode before doing alt-tab, and to switch back, it prevents crashes.
When you have multiple screens full windowed is useful since you can still see whats going on when you're on the 2nd screen.
Good to know. I always forget that alt-enter is the default switch for full/windowed mode for some reason, even though so many programs use it...
Oof...that's a qualifier for the brokebag PUG thread too, since that looks like solo queue. Disappointing to see such a good match end that way heh
