I normally do but it ended up over two tons underweight with no extra slots. The problem is from the low density mg. Not an issue if they are deleted or this build is cloned on another variant.
In that case, if there is no functional difference, I'd rather go Endo and be 2 tons underweight than have to pay a million bucks to swap out ferro for endo on a build that would better utilize the tonnage.
My thought of the build. Drop machine guns, drop ams, swap ferro for endo, replace PPCs with ERPPCs, load up on DHS. Lower engine to an XL325 to maximize DHS. Now you have FANTASTIC front-loaded damage and can hit things point-blank as well. The AC10s will have a velocity of ~1020 m/s after the 7.5% quirk, this lines it up closely with the ERPPCs which are @ 1050 m/s. Enough ammo for the AC10s to last a long match. Basically an AC40 with a faster rate of fire, double the range, and double the velocity.
I tried a similar build with 2x AC10, 2x PPC and it wrecked face but that was with a 300 std, less heatsinks and a little less ammo. The XL seems a bit like a liability though but I'm not entirely sure yet and it could use some more running of the mech to work it out.
I finally built it, but man those ER PPCs are way too hot with 15 DHS and stock engine. I will try some combat drops tomorrow with standard PPCs.
