I can finally get this started! Got my first one in the 6 MPL "Thunderwhat" build




Too bad it wasn't my first win...with the 2.5 xp bonus, an 18k game would've been a record for me

 

Got my first 1000+ with a Gauss + 2xERLLA build

It's hard to have fun in pug matches when the matchmaker thinks you are king of the pugs... It's usually not enough for me to do 8-900 damage.

This was with the "Thunderwhat" build as well. It's a very potent package, especially against poor to middling players.

 

I may actually make a second "Thunderhuh" on my other variant to copy JagerXII's HBR build, using 6 ERMLs instead of 6 MPLs. He has 30 heat sinks on his, so while it does a bit less per alpha, it gets out more shots (he took a ton of armor off the RT/LT since they're not getting hit until the patch anyway).

 

Release day I saw TwinkyOverlord running the same build with very good results. Definitely considering this as one of my builds. Seems more like a "NovaWhat" than a Thunderbolt knock-off

 

Since I love too play mechs like the Lore a Hellbringer too me has too have a " Utterly mad configuration." So I stay away from all energy builds for my own sense yes its a handicap but still this build has a similar feel too a true Hellbringer. the ERPPC is used too engage targets at long range as you close the distance the LBX-10 is used for crit seeking followed up by 2 SRM 4's and too finally take advantage of any holes 4 ER Small lasers. I always try run one long range weapon on the weapon.





Edit on the build is missing a DHS so just add that.

 

I'm so embarrassed at my performance in that very same match haha...I think I was so disgusted, I didn't even notice your score. Nicely done! It was even better when I remember that we won when the PB ran in with 10 seconds left and got a kill, just as the game ended. I was laughing like a madman as we won that, instead of getting a tie lol.

 

I am not really into the hellbringer that much and the reason is the game hurts it for what it was build for too carry lots of weapons instead all I see now are 5 ERML 1Gauss builds I don't know I must be the only hell bringer pilot who loads more then 2 weapon types on his or something lol. And due too having a really high ping ER meds and larges have a far long too burn time too keep them on target.

 

First game since hotfix (was uniformly orange at the end !) with cheesy medpulse build :

 

Nice score I just don't know what too do with the hell bringer. I want too run it like in the lore but the game hurts it for doing so. I have tried so many builds.

 

Here is another amazing game with a unique Hellbringy like build. for medium range engagement as you close it is armed with 3 ERML while not very threatening it does allow you too poke out at them. As you close into brawl range 1 SRM6 and 2SRM4 can be opened up too remove the armor. Once the armor is gone the final knock out punch weapon is a large LBX-20 supplemented by 4 tons of ammo. No ECM as it is intended too carry as much firepower as possible.

 

Of all maps with my brawler Hellback build:

 

Over 10k is quite easy for the event, and definitely with the first win.

Hellbringer is quite powerful and it is easy to hit 1000+.
Done it a couple times on that build.
This is especially true if you are using things like 4x cERLL.

6 Medium Lasers and ECM, this mech is an absolute dream to drive.

 

Been grindin CBills in this guy to buy MDDs and weapon mods, had a bit of a signiature round. You know it's gonna good when you have the last 7-8 to yourself...



My favorite part was shooting a crab in the dick for a CT kill when he was in full shield, and the fact that if his Gauss hadn't exploded an taken the XL with it, the GI had me dead the next time he reloaded.

Got a new Prime build that I was using during my charity stream, I'm liking it even more than my MPL build!
