Like A Champion Challenge Feedback

Meanwhile, I got TK'd 5 games in a row so someone could steal the final kill. Luckily I already had my kill/assist...

 

Whew...finally got it.....very interesting gameplay with all the kill hoarding and crazies running about . I used my Hellbringer-A with Durandal's "Thunderwhat?" build. Great build, thanks for sharing it!

 

Glad you enjoyed it Grats on the completion. I'm 10 points in so far, had a LOT of bad luck with teams, even in group drops so far. Still, I'm off work tomorrow, and should be on track to getting all 30 points soon...I've been using the Thunderwhat as well, alongside my Dragon 1N and Raven 3L for the best results.

 

I'm 5 out but I have zero time tomorrow to do the grind so I have to get it done tonight. Slept for an hour and am gonna grind out the last 5 then go back to bed so I can take my son to his grandma's tomorrow.

 

I only drop solo, I guess I get lucky.

 

Picked up another 10 points (10 to go) overnight...I definitely started playing a little differently. I play as hard as I can until we're up a good 6 kills or so (as long as I get a kill along the way), and then start focusing more on components...Thunderwhat can strip a leg off in an alpha if it's taken any hits, so I just rip off their legs and arms and leave them to the wolves. Sadly, I haven't always gotten the same consideration back hehe

 

I try to do that but sometimes there's a Daishi eating me and I have to kill him to save myself

 

I finished mine at 0315 this morning. Roughly 12 hours of playing to get 30 matches that could count. I had two where I did amazing scores but no kills and then there were the matches with the UMAD guys and then after that was my solo drops. I did better solo speed dropping switching between my Dragon and King Crab with a Raven mixed in for fun.

 

6 out the last 8 counted so at the moment its going quite fast. 18 counted in total out of 49 matches, so this will take a while.

 

@SirHitman I feel your pain but I look at it this way. I now have enough money to buy, and outfit, the other two crabs when they come out just from the grind itself. I also have the CTF-3D(C) so I was able to sell my old CTF-3D and I have an extra mech bay slot. I realize that Champion Mechs mean very little if you already have it mastered and don't need the XP but the Mechbay slot was worth it in the long run.

 

TBH its getting frustrating just watching either passive teams waiting for someone else to do all the work and then nipping in for a kill before fading away again or just all dying.

Seeing more lights than in a long time.

 

10 game streak that didn't count, Christ. I won two of those but didn't manage to secure any kills.

EDIT2: This is becoming farcical; fighting a Puma alone in the middle of fucking nowhere, leg him, open his CT, and a bunch of friendly LRMs fly over my head and core him.

 

Run conquest. The games are faster and the brawl happens.

 

I'm going to try that, I guess. This is my day so far.

 

On the verge of throwing in the towel as teams just full of cowards hanging back or lrm boats on the other side. That last one had 2 TBR's with 2 LRM 15 and ERML support plus 2 pure IS LRM assault boats (stalker and aws). They volleyed 7 people in under 3 minutes using 2 spotters.

 

Just got the mech took med 71 battles.

 

So far I'm at: 39 battles, 25 wins, 75 kills, 26 deaths and 20 qualifying.

Not sure I can face another 20 battles....

 

I'm 19 for 68 right now, it's sped up since I started picking only Conquest a little bit at least.
