I love me some dual gauss.

The IV4 is the only fully arm-articulated, jump jet capable, dual-gauss platform right now. However, it is slower than the closest counterpart: the 3D double gauss.

Will vote again after tests. But good idea though.

This is the only way I could find to make the speed more tolerable. I don't think its worthwhile to sacrifice backup weaponry while only being able to fit 4 tons of ammo, however.

    NO POINT IN USING SHS!!
****The mech comes with DHS, no point in taking it out!!!!****

    Maybe just XL225 would do?

Give up on secondary, but get an extra ton of ammo, you can get more armor instead, or another JJ.

Meh, dual-gauss in the IV-4 is worse than triple-gauss in the Ilya Muromets IMO

Although enileph's looks the most feasible.

Don't you want more JJs for pop-tarting?

Tried this build in on the test maps today - not for me. Dual Gauss is a nice alpha, but, makes no sense on the QKD. Too little armour to be moving this slowly - poptarting might work, but, why bother. Speed and agility are the reasons to run this mech, overloading with weapons degrades innate advantages.

Here is what I came up with.

You don't have to degrade the engine and you can use that extra ton for whatever.
