It's been weeks, and yes, it was the most natural thing I could think of.

 

I am more and more convinced that the concept of a pure lighthunter is the wrong direction for such a great medium mech. Yes, both the SHD and the KTO (namely 18, 19 and GB) can boat a lot of streaks. But thinking how much weight the big engines take out of the potential loadout (since you won't strip down on armor)...

And it's not even like the medium mechs are able to keep up with the lights they are supposed to hunt down, it's just that they're maximising the time they're able to shoot at them... even a typical CDA will outrun such a SHD / KTO. Finally, and despite all the efforts, a team of 2 designated lighthunters can easily fall prey to a pack of 4 Jenners should these two groups meet somewhere.

So allthough I put a lot of effort into maximising my 2D2 lighthunter build recently, I am also looking into creating good builds which are an asset to an organised group other than being a nuisance for opposing lights. This is one of the builds which didn't take much effort besides a change Blagg already proposed several weaks ago.
