Would be nice if you could add the new quirks for this variant. Estimating the build's capabilities would be much easier then.

In addition to this I usually am a bit disapppointed when there's no description about play style / role included and why a certain loadout was chosen. 1x SSRM2 instead of, say, 1x SRM4 looks strange.

Essentially you should read this comment like this: you're showing a loadout for a mech you think is good and which you are playing / testing atm AND would like to show it to the community for discussion an improvement. Therefore you should do a reader friendly presentation... nobody likes to look for the quirks when seeing a build. Try to do these threads like a service for the readers.

I don't include play style because generally people can figure that out based on load-out, but I'll be happy to explain it to you. Medium to short range mech with a SSRM2 deterrent for lights cause the Banshee torso twist is God awful slow. 3x LPL due to the new heat changes for IS Large Lasers so no ghost heat with 3x, and my play style (shoot them till their dead) nets 500-1000 DMG on average per match if I don't do something stupid like charge the volcano by myself.

As a light mech, I would say that I never see a single SSRM2 as a deterrent. If they were still heartseekers, then maybe, but the damage is random...and 2 SRMs wouldn't even make my Locust flinch. Drop the missiles, add in a DHS and max out the engine for what little more speed you can get:

    4/5,
I've been dropping in a slightly modified version of Durandal's setup and I love it. I wasn't even done basics and I was ripping through the enemy team.

Any chance of sharing the setup for people to see?

I strongly suggest rebuilding around large pulse with mlas. Max beam alpha is where the meta is now.

    Go (2x LPLAS + 5x mlas) or (3x LPLAS + 3-4 mlas) + 345 STD with or without endo.

Large pulse and mlas synch very well on my Thunderbolts and Awesomes. It should for the Banshee as well.

Yeah the ML and LPL range blends better, and you get full shieldarms (great on banshees), more cooling, more amor, and more range)

And anyway you can use quirks, this way :

    Medium Laser Range 15%
    Medium Laser Duration-15%

Basically making them long range MPLs, would be a shame to not do it.

You can even squeeze in AMS

But probably those are other builds.

I dropped it to a 340 engine and put the tonnage into armour for the shield arms and legs. I also put 3 heatsinks into the engine. I'm assuming that's the spare tonnage left on your setup ;) I didn't think it was really enough to warrant posting it.
