dedicated to Aylek We have one AC10+4MPL build, another LBX+4MPL and even one with UAC5, but where is the Wubwubwubwub-Ting??? I think, if i would drop the BFG for an XL Engine-more Speed, i'd go for this one. The Sidetorsos of the Dragon are small, so it's ok to load the GR there. Snipe at safe distance, reposition often to avoid damage, and defend yourself brutally with the Quadro Wubs, if you are forced to brawl. Weapon Groups: 1. Gauss Rifle 2. 2x MPL (right Arm) 3. 2x MPL (left Arm) Benefiting Quirks: AC/20 VELOCITY: 7.50 % BALLISTIC VELOCITY: 7.50 % AC/20 RANGE: 7.50 % BALLISTIC RANGE: 7.50 % LASER DURATION: -10.00 % Blagg
5/5, Gnah. You stole my current build and made it public. This makes one free TK for me, mate... Joking aside, this is indeed what I've been running since the quirk pass and the MPLas buff, since the Flame quirks basically suck.
5/5, The new more general quirks on the flame are: Additional Structure CT +24 Additional Structure LT +9 Ballistic Weapon Velocity +10% Ballistic Weapon Range +10% Ballistic Weapon Cooldown +10% Laser Duration -10% Energy Weapon Heat Gen -10% Torso yaw speed +10% Seems to works pretty good with this build. I really like it. 5/5 Stars!
5/5, I agree - this mech mounts a gauss very effectively - full stars. Nice high hardpoint for sniping over ridges. The only change I made was to move all of the ammo out of the legs and into the torsos for crit padding.
The current event rejuvinated my love for this chassis and particularly the hero twins. This is what I was using nearly exclusively on the Flame during the weekend: The big engine and the agility of the mech allows for some very fast twisting and makes aiming the Gauss pretty easy, even when fighting light mechs or in a brawl.
Haven't played this one since the two more recent Gauss Changes, allthough it still sits fully equipped in my hangar (no modules). I was wondering if this was worth taking out for a ride again... but then I so much prefer the 3x LPLas Fang...
