[Feedback] Phoenix rising event

Yes. Just looked at it, and the Sabre 'Mechs are listed on the leaderboards.
So I'm leaning Lolcust, Griffin, or Wolverine.

 

The BLR-1G(P) has been my most played mech for the past two months, so I'll just keep on with it. Maybe drop a few times in my trusty ol' SHD-2H(P) a bit too, though the SHawks got the short end of the stick when it came to quirks.

 

We'll see how much competition there is, but these are all the builds I plan on running (minus a MG Locust if I ever get around to it)

and i'm REALLY indecisive on what 1G build to bring... I used to run the first one A LOT, but the others look pretty good now as well. It's been over a year since i've played the thing...

I'm not going to grind to get on the leaderboards, on the founder event I finished within the top 200 but that was with ten good games. I'd have to grind a lot more to get ten great games and have a shot at the higher placements.

 

I'll dig out my Battlemaster. Needs refitting any way.

Event sucks though.

Grind kills so PGI will re-release a limited time only package for those that were not around/strap for cash/whatever.

 

I predict a lot of WVRs on the field

 

I have 2 birthday parties this weekend. Luckily the WVR is one of my best mechs. I may register without actually grinding

On the overall event, i like these, no pressure, makes you appreciate buying things (like an added thank you), and even if you didn't, you get some Cbills and items. A nice chill event.

 

I don't mind exciting events, but I think most of the regular events should be like this... simple fun things everyone can have a go and reasonable goals (though I think 50 point would be better, 30 point is basically a steal for anyone playing).

 

12th spot so far without much effort (did my 20 points and then some,...) musn't be that many phoenix pilots around I presume?

It's a BLR with an XL400. ALL THREE large lasers were crit out of my one side torso. Crazy random crit chances considering I was still alive at that moment!

 

Did they kick more cheaters?

My guess is some calculation error.
Dliberately put off playng with the Phoenic after a 15 point match to see how many people are playing. Was ranked 11xx.
So I guess there are many Phoenix players around, and yes that is a Battlemaster.
