    Here's the notes:


    TL;DR:

    -PPC velocity increased a bit; not as fast as it was, but faster, should make them better without quirks.
    -SCR/TBR nerfs undone slightly. Russ said it was to rebalance with the new hitreg.
    -New River City, features 4 time "slots" that are selected at random when you launch on the map.
    -New hitreg coding, should help a lot for players with higher pings (EU, AUS, etc)
    -Bandwidth optimizations
    -TDR and WVR hero mechs
    -Stunlock mechanic removed when legged
    -IS AC10 gets more ammo per ton. Clan ACs all had the number of shells on burst fire reduced by 1 EACH, means C-AC/UAC2's are now pinpoint fire. Clan AC ammo per ton reduced as a result, not a nerf, just a number change to account for the smaller bursts.
    -Class 1, 3, and 4 JJs improved. Class 1 gives better lift, 3 and 4 last longer.
    -SLI issues with DX11 fixed; DX9 fixes pending work from Nvidia.
    -Turrets removed from Assault game mode

    All in all, the patch looks good. We'll see how the hitreg changes actually pan out, but if they work right, it could be a great thing. Some people are already predicting "Light mechageddon" though, as they will be much easier to hit (presumably). We'll see how it goes. Hopefully things will balance out, may just mean that light mechs have to be more careful. SCR/TBR changes don't bug me, they still have strong negatives if they laserboat entirely. Biggest question will be if the hitreg change fixed the problem with PPCs and SRMs, where firing a second time too quickly would make their hits not register. I intend on testing that out right away.

    New map looks great...can't wait to take a trip around it on my own and see where the hot spots will end up. Lots of cover, so you can move about the map far easier. The Assault change is a bit odd to me...could mean that will end with speed caps more often, and TBH, Assault ending by capping has always irked me since it means almost no rewards for either side if it happens early. They mentioned they would be changing Assault in the future, but I think removing the turrets could've waited until they had the revised gamemode created. Ah well, we'll see how it goes.

    I'm not sure if the CACs CUACs aren't getting too good with those changes. Since the last volley change there are CUACs everywhere and clans are atm dominating the battlefield again

    As I've told the DUDES too, the c-AC changes would've been nice if they came for the c-AC only, and left the c-UAC untouched. Would've given players a reason to use the darn things. Now I fear even more slugs flying around my ears,...

    *Half of me loves it, the other half would prefer a weakened turret for some late 1 on 1 tactics. Oh well. Back to base stealing. :)

    JJ changes
    *... OK I guess, not too interested.

    PPC series and IS AC changes.
    *Good. Rebalancing things. A right thing to do.

    cAC/cUAC changes.
    *Not sure if it is the right way to make it.
    Not saying anything cor cAC cause I still have a dream of them making it different.

    Crow/Timberwolf slight unnerf
    *I know it is coming. But it is good still to see them rebalancing things on a regular basis I guess.

    River City new map.
    *Have to play it first to know. But yeah it looks pretty.

    Heros.
    Ok... Nothing to omg about. At least they make one from lore.

    I think this would be a good thing. HSR has been a big part of the problem for some time.

    Finally I can use expanded view in mechlab :D

    I wonder how 5 UACs dires will be now that they got 2 buffs in a close range of time, but I guess there will be a lot ingame in the next days.

    Not sure why, but somehow after the Patch... wtf, is the AC10 now the perfect IS-Boomstick (ran AC10 + 2LL and close to overheat all the match, so only firing my Boomstick nonstop)? Ow btw, greetings to PGI!!! ^_^

    What was the reference in the video summary for the patch to tube changes in the awesome, dragon, cicada etc (to where they can fire a volley)?

    Are there any hero video's?

    Tube changes are for real. X5 for example now fires SRM4s/6s in one single volley.

    Haven't tested any other mechs, but could imagine I'd like a LRM10 on my Flame.

    New map is amazing, it looks so much better and feels so much better. I have been roof hoping in my myst lynx dropping salvos on unsuspecting mechs below! SO MUCH FUN!

    Are people really base rushing in assault? I have yet to see it myself.

    You have to play with a mix of offense/defense now to not get baserushed early. If you go Nascar Racing then you have a 50/50 to lose the battle. It is again tactical movements needed to make the battle interesting, instead having boring Nascar Race/Zerg Rush.

    btw.. you know which Mech is now perfect for the bigger city/taller buildings? ->
