Never mind that. Many of my mechs are redundant copies with different looks. What I am not happy about is the fact that they are AGAIN showcasing a new mech following the recent outcry to put some resources in more urgent departments,...
I always see/treat that they have a special quota for pumping out mech/cash though. As long as they are following the "model of the month" schedule it should be acceptable.
They do need to create revenue to pay the people that work on the parts of the game that do not make them money. F2P model is the instant gratification model for the gaming industry..
On a second note, in the present.....and the past for that matter, dynamic of the game, seeing that the rifleman was predominantly an antiaircraft platform we are now presented with a 60t Jager.... I'll keep my armor, thank you.
No issue with that at all. One could consider me a somewhat of a serious funder of the game. Yet recently the avalanche of new mechs is of such proportions that is makes me start having doubts on the true reasons of all those cash-injections,...
I look at it more as an alternative to IS 60 tonners, not the Jager. Dragon is meh for me and the Quickdraw is too. If its scaled right it will be the best IS 60 tonner. edit: Also one thing to note is the lower leg sections are the same as the Warhammer. Judging by that you can tell its way shorter and more compact than the Warhammer, which leads me to believe that it's scaling it going to be a lot better than the other IS 60 tonners.. unless mess up the scaling on the Warhammer which is unlikely since they've been doing OK with the recent releases.
No link to buy yet?? As for mechs from Macross rip-off, I want the "Destroid Monster" for that look. Now
3N/LK looks great (like a mini Jager hero). Nothing special for the other two. A Jager 5 tons less. The special camo is nice though.
Sadly I don't see any arguments for getting this one. Jager already does his job and only a few builds are acceptable here - mainly because of the variant's respective quirks like 3x UAC5 for the DD or dual gauss on all of them.
But... I already bought the Firebrand... Well, I guess for the prelim art, it looks like it might have slightly better STs than the Jags, but I'll still take the 65 tonner.
Don't compare it with the Jagermech, compare it with the Blackjack or the other 60Tonners. You can run Dual AC10 with a bundle of little PewPews.. or Dual PPCs with enough DHSs.. or maybe even Triple AC5, what you cannot on the Blackjack nor on the other 60s. And don't forget the classic Dual AC5 + Dual LLas Build It's not totally crap.
The Blackjack is 45 tons, the Jagermech is 65. The Jagermech is a far better comparison. I still don't see anything to distinguish between Jager vs Rifleman.
