    This build is derived from Koreanese's and Soy's respective versions of the triple PPC CTF-3D. It's a beautifully simple mech.



    I'm dancing with the devil a bit here but this is not a jump sniper - this is an insanely effective mid-range fighter. It's blindingly fast for a mech of this size (86.6kph after speed tweak!). The jump jets give you access to fast turns and vertical damage distribution. The speed and agility together let you range out and strike from the flanks where enemies are most vulnerable. Also it's heat efficient enough to fire the PPCs in frequently only requiring some restraint after several volleys.

    I want to repeat - this is not intended to be one of the many jump snipers in the back. The range is only average and the 30 point strike isn't anything special. Plus the vulnerability in close combat is very real though I've nailed my fair share of lights who thought that just because they got close that they were safe :ph34r:. To maximize the potential of this build you must push forward and use your combat presence to shift the course of the fight. The pressure you exert on the enemy alone can sometimes cause lines to crumble.

    hey! my build is leaked! I been using it for long time when everyone else was using 2ER and gauss. it is simple higher burst dmg and most importantly, its freakin fast! I use that to my advantage.

    The speed in combination with JJ is killer for sure. Landing a headshot while flying through the air backwards is probably the most satisfying things in the world :ph34r:

    do you use that weaponsetup in competetiv matches too or do u take the er/gauss one? (aside form the STD Engine ofc)

    kk, thx, ill guess ill have to give it a try since im rly unhappy with the Gauss//PPC setup due to the velocity difference

    Interesting build. After watching Soy's video montage on the problem with PPCs (the Zelda video) I decided to try this out. It pretty much wrecks anything in it's weight class and lighter quite easily and will finish off heavier mechs with alarming ease when others are engaging it first.

    This is probably one of the best kill stealing mechs I've seen in terms of single point and click alpha damage.

    NOTE: Soy is running an updated build since LRMs became somewhat effective again. I've gone ahead and updated the build with what I think would be similar to what he is running.

    If you want more JJ power remove a DHS and add a 4th JJ.

    Thats what I'm on at the moment, but yes the AMS is kinda personal preference with the last bit of tonnage/space, do what you will with it.

    I still love this build. All around fun/mobile.

    I translated it a bit into the Firebrand. Doesn't work quite as well, but the c-bills help.

    This build is no longer really viable, as a pin point high damage alpha poptart, due to the heat penalty that just came into game as of July 16th. Sure you can still use this and chain fire or go 2 and 1 but as a poptart this one has slid down the meta scale a bit.

    As such I reverse engineered Soy Sauce 2.0 based on some video of Soys post July 16th build.

    With changes to ballistics, this is actually the best jump sniper right now, unless you want to alternate between Gauss/AC10 and PPCs. If you start to run hot you can fire less of them, but the nice thing about poptarting is you're generally behind cover. It's the pinpoint alpha that matters most, not the time in between.

    Pinpoint build that is possible to execute. XL340 and 4 jj's makes you very agile and able to flank and poptart well. Generally though, i find regular ppc's to underperform and not put out enough DPS. This build has some interesting uses still for those interested. Brought AMS
