So, I've been trying to communicate with the PUGs I drop with more recently, and for that purpose want to use the integrated Voice-over-IP with push-to-talk enabled. However, a lot of the time, when I press the button i've assigned, it doesn't work. I don't see the little window that shows i'm transmitting, and my teammates cannot hear me. Is that a problem with my setup specifically, or a known problem? any potential solutions?
booooooooy, you got another thing coming. I've had that same issue forever, and I can't for the life of me figure out how to fix it. I would recommend contacting PGI support to see if they can't figure it out. It may have to be with MWO and Windows not communicating properly which is your default audio devices, input and output.
Good luck with that, I haven't had good experiences with PGI tech support. I have had good luck tapping into the steam community though.
Same here but I figured it out guys, it's a little complex though and a stupid implementation of the Teamspeak SDK. The Push-To-Talk is actually a mix of regular Push-To-Talk and Voice-Activated. What happens when you push your key is that you tell the software, I-am-ready-to-transmit-when-you-hear-me-speak but if your settings on the microphone is too low you will still not be picked up. Check your windows microphone setup, it runs off that too and you may need to boost the mic.
PGI support recommended I put my microphone boost to the maximum. It kinda works now, but still not great. May have to turn up the level even higher.
