the FB is just inviting to play around with energy builds. since i love LPLs, i came up with this decent close to midrange brawl build. nice alpha, manageable heat, and sufficient maneuverability for a heavy with a standard engine. first impression after 10 or so matches: did b/w 400 and 800 dmg and 2-5 kills in each match. and lots of components) light legs dont like the 4 LPLs.

also possible with an XL300 and one more DHS, if you like it faster and dont mind the XL

    Interesting.
Personally I would drop the armor in the legs a bit to get an extra heatsink in there, but I may try this build. Might get me playing my FB again.

good suggestion. was starting from a slower STD build, but armor still looking decent. the FB seems to be getting good turn, yaw etc quirks, so running it with big XLs will be even more interesting.

Personally, I prefer the ON1-K for the quad LPL - more cooling, faster (with XL360 or STD300) and have all four LPLs in the articulated arms is a great perk. However, the Jag can peak hills with the two arm mounts, which is a critical disadvantage in the ON1.

Either way, 4x LPLs is just plain silly fun! :D

I using something similar and with less speed
and one more heat sink work pretty well.

in generally is a pinpoint damage awesome build rather that 4/5.

Unfortunately the quirk is currently just 10% cooldown + 10% heat... maybe a good build on rifleman.
