Mid-long range pinpoint shooter. I fire the torso PPCs + AC (25) followed by the arm PPC + ultra shot (15). You can alpha if you want to, it took me to about 75% heat on Terra Therma. Pound away with the UAC while PPCs cool down or when you're hot. Left arm is a damage sink.
I always have the same problem with these 3/4 PPC builds, and that's just that it's too hot. I'd much rather down the engine and drop a PPC to fit on a second UAC and some ammo...just alpha, then keep firing the UACs for some nasty output.
I struggled with the heat at first, but adjusted my play style and got used to it after a few games. I know it's not for everyone, I used to hate hot builds but I've been getting more and more used to them, this one's fine for me. ^ That's not enough ammo for two UACs for my taste, especially when you've only got PPCs after it runs out.
Well, he is being lazy... if you strip those shield arm armor to the legs and things it is actually pretty good.
