Buying assault mech any reccomendations

@POOTYTANGOSAUR Those do indeed look epic! However, why go XL when the Sheedevil is such a tanky bastard? The thing just soaks damage! Plus, with a STD (lol, s.t.d.) I can lose half my mech and still either have 3x LPL & 1x MLas, or 5x MLas. Fire for ever!

However, you are correct. The XL400 3x3 looks tasty as hell at 73kph. Or 4x LPL, 2x SLas. So nice with those speeds!

But, if I'm going XL - in for a penny, in for a pound!

Meh, 6 lgpls is usable. But not anywhere near worth it IMO. Purely because with 5 you can mount them all high in the shoulders. If you mount 6 one of them will be low mounted no matter what.

The XL banshee is still one hell of a tank. In BMMU we lead pushes all the time with it. IMO before the excessive structure quirks, the banshee with Xl was better at leading pushes than the (now uber OP structure wise) atlas.

You have to be careful to try to torso twist often. But the XL banshee is easily capable of tangoing with a dire and winning. You can take out a dires side torso in ~7 seconds, or ~11 seconds to kill or cherry CT one. Pretty awesome for a laser mech.

This thing shreks people so quick its like they were never there in the first place. Be veeery careful about your heat, don't alpha unless you have to, and make sure you turn arm lock off or you're gonna have a bad time.
