You won't fire MPL and ML together effectively anyways, so you end up firing them in two different batches. I group them in Leftside/rightside, Body/Arms. Your build have impressive amount of DHS though.
You do have to volley fire the mpl and mlas. But with 9 mpl you should be doing that anyway, if not you're doing something wrong hahaha. That's alot of ghost heat punishment. My take on it. More dhs but slightly slower. Maintains 8 mdpls for equal heat output so you can better manage heat. Firing left, then right would allow for some fierce short term dps and good corner peaking.
Dropped the AMS and added a DHS... doesn't run too hot as long as you don't alpha too often. Group 1: 5x MPLas Torso Group 2: 4x MPlas Arms Group 3: 5x MPlas Torso Chain-fire
I don't know why you guys think mlas and mplas can't be run together. The 6D on paper is exactly like the Black Knight. Using cooldown 5, the sync is very close. By the time it gets out of phase you have already stopped firing because of heat. Its good for two or more alphas which is all you need. Sure the pure pulse build puts out higher alpha, but you are adding group 1 duration + .5 second spacer + batch 2. In reality much longer than the mixed alpha.
Read my post. I don't say anything about not running them together. But alphastriking the 2 weapon types nullifies the benefits of mdpls anyway. So you volley fire mlas or mdpls as you see fit. 8 mdpls (the build I posted) should also be volley fired. The correct way to run the build would be 6 mdpls or mlas and 1 lgpls, but if I suggest that the mods will come up in this thread and rage everywhere. So I suggest 8 mdpls, volley firing those will still net you the benefits of short duration. Very pinpoint and that particular loadout is very balanced.
I don't think mods will rage unless it is something obviously cringy like 8xTag. But I do think the chassis would support more than 6x MPL. And for the record, I rarely alpha in it, I split it into body and arm group, and fire in alternation.
I was able to maintain constant volley fire, with eni's groupings, for a full 26 seconds at 354 damage, roughly 9.8dps before overheating... something you would never do in game, but played right this thing is a true killer. The only thing I would wish for more would be 80+ kph but that would mean XL, which would kill a heatsink unless you dropped endo.... Theoretical, since I think the XL would be a big mistake.
