Like a legendary gunman, this mech leaps into battle and opens up with a huge amount of firepower while playing goofy music.

After experimenting for a long time on HM builds and trying out various builds that both suit my play style and deal the most damage/get the most kills in a match, I came up with Vash. It has decent burst from the two SRM's, and good sustained damage from the MLas and AC5s. This build also runs fairly cool, only on the hottest of maps during the longest engagements does the mech begin to overheat. I've also never run out of ammo even when I am nearly continuously firing at my opponents.

Originally I was running with a BAP, but I switched it out for AMS since it didn't seem to do much most of the time. It's pretty easy to swap the two back and forth, so go with whatever best fits your play style.

 

I rather like the basic idea, although I will probably change a srm ammo for an ac5. I'm liking the better close range power compared to the ac5/ppc builds. Definitely a build I'm going to test some more. It uses all of the weapon slots too, which I always love in a build.

No ams or JJ's since the JJ's are so crapy.

 

Best build for HM currently

 

Torn between upping the engine or upgrading to MPL, most likely drop to 1x JJ to get the tonnage..
