Essentially a faster MAL-1P with backup weapons in theory. I still need to run it, so this is still an unproven build. I'll update once I get some games under my belt.
I've taken a version of this for several runs, and it's one my favorite Kodiaks so far. You appropriately mention the Mauler, and other comparisons are the DWF-B and KGC-000B dakka mechs. Compared to your setup here, I reduced one heat sink and a ton of leg armor to allow for 4 ERMLs instead of smalls; at over 400m range, they are not just last-ditch backup anymore. Runs in the 700-800 dmg range have been common.
