    Hey guys,

Considering the fact that you can get 3x XL400, 3 Clan chassis, and readily equipped expensive weaponry for just $20, I'm considering to buy this twice and sell the first three (believe it or not, but an elite founder has c-bill problems).

This would net me 3 empty mech bays and a lot of C-Bills to finally be able to edit the rest of my garage (including the other 3 Kodiaks). The question is, how many C-Bills/$?

It's almost certainly a better conversion than MC -> C-Bills, just like people bought Atlai with MC during an Atlas sale and sold them off for C-Bills in the past.

Could someone disclose the information of the sell price of the Kodiak variants so I can make a calculation? :)

    Cheers!

Would it be better to just buy premium time? But yes, of all the options out there now, for $20, the KDK 123 is pack is the best value in terms of MC for $. Then again, a few CW invasion drops + Premium time and you can get an extra 500k per match (if you win).

Uhm, 3-4 regular quick drops will net you more, and in less time (likely).

You net the bonus when you win CW, so for 30-40 minutes of one CW drop, you can easily net 1 million (with Premium time). Quick drops usually last 15 mintues, and you net 250k-300k (with premium time), if you do fairly well and win.
    Your mileage might vary.

Around 2.9mil cbill resell price for each carebear.

Personally though I think it is easier to make money with Premium on a Hero mech.

That's lower than I expected, I guess premium time will be the way to go then! Summer holidays coming up should mean there are enough free days to entirely waste on MWO ^^

That's not including the 400XL though is it? If you sell the engines too, I think you double that.

No, that is not including the 400XL. 300XL is 4.9 million to buy, I assume the 400XL is more expensive.

EDIT: 400XL is over 6.5 million to buy, 2.4-ish to sell.

So that's 5.3 mil per Mech, ~15.9 mil for the entire pack without the weapons and equipment. Guessing around 1-1.5 mil sale value of other equipment (2x LBX + 2x UAC20 should sell decently, then add the lasers), would mean 17-17.5 mil c-bills or $20, or ~$1.15 per mil C-bills.

If I want to match this with premium time (7 days, I'm probably not going to be able to devote an entire month to grinding MWO), which costs 1250 MC = $7, I would need to earn at least $7/$1.15 = ~6.1 mil c-bills as bonus from the premium time.

Assuming an average payout of 170k for my non-premium Quick Play matches which last on average 7 minutes (wins&losses, only hero/champ/legacy mechs, quit match after destroyed), I would be able to get ~85k per 7 minutes with premium time. This comes down to having to play 8-15 matches per day over 7 days, or 1-2 hours per day, to reach the same $>C-bills conversion as selling a Kodiak pack. which is very managable.

This of course excludes the 900 MC (~$5) worth of mech bays, but I don't really need those atm anyway.
