This has worked pretty well as a harassing mech. I hate leaving some weight on the table, but it is only a few tenths of a ton. I've kept the LPL up high for poking from behind barriers.

I use this build as well, thought I prefer to have both C-ER MED on the same side to make the sides even in power, that way if I lose a side torso I still have goo firepower, plus lose armour on head and deadarm for extra heatsink.

PS. My first ever post on here so excuse any errors.

Welcome to MechSpecs both of you :) Enjoy your stay!

I've edited @Xara Genesis ' post to show the buildcard! Please refer to the FAQ on how to post a build!

Nice build! I like Xara's approach, as it allows to remove the armor from one component, so the rest of the leftover tonnage can be put into a TC1 or DHS.
Because of the convergence (and the XP bonus of having all of the same component isn't impactful anyway), I'd even consider mounting a Viper-C arm and putting both cERML in there. That makes it more accurate at long ranges. I personally prefer to have everything at the same side, so I can use the other side to shield without losing weapons, making me generally more effective.

May I interest you in using the A right torso, and perhaps putting both of the mediums in there? Better convergence, and less dependence on lower slung, arm-mounted weapons.

I keep it using the whole Viper-B pods so it has use for the set of 8 quirks, convergence isn't too bad with the 1 med laser in the left torso and the other in the left arm.

Yeah its a bit of a gamechanger as I can't decide if the bonuses on some of these chassis are worth enough to counter for the loss of the hardpoints available elsewhere. I have my D set up similarily for the moment while I level them and get used to their play style.

Edit: On the D I just have 1 pt armour on the non weapon arm, max armour elsewhere and a TC1 for lock time etc though an extra DHS is tempting.
