The build for my twin champion Kit Foxes, Priscus and Verus; I've had such a good run with these two that I thought it was fitting that they be named after a pair of rival Roman Gladiators. This build can engage any weight class effectively at any range. The whole design, down to the location of the parts on the chassis, has been fine tuned for the highest efficiency. The armor is maxed in all the places it counts and all of the weapons are fire and forget, meaning you spend the minimum amount of time exposed. Lastly there is only one Jump Jet, but that's all you'll need for climbing cliffs and moving smoothly around the battlefield. -EDIT- tweaked a few quirk details on smurfy so that they matched my actual in game mech. -EDIT- tweaked for the new patch that hardlocks jump jets into the S torsos.
Overall looks great but for me I would downgrade the Streaks to regular SRMs and add AMS. Your build is top notch though.
After asking for opinions elsewhere we came up with something vaguely similar. This build is really good at distracting lights from flanking the heavies/assaults you're hanging back behind long enough for the friendly heavies or mediums to respond. Also good at poptarting/taking potshots around corners/generally being an anus to the enemy team while taking as much cover as possible. However, NOT A TRADING PHASE MECH. 36 center torso armor is less than some medium mech's legs. Streak SRMS because oxides and locusts, machineguns because they lead to amazing chance component crits on stripped armor sections when you're helping teammates mop isolated mechs up. Less back armor than the OP but in my playstyle I tend to get more damage to my back from bleedover from frontal damage than straight back damage. Always checking surroundings and watching the flank, facing away from enemy as little as possible, juke and S curve away into cover when focused at, shake constantly and serve. This build kind of makes the kitfox feel like a tiny timberwolf. Infact I've 1vs1'd a timberwolf in this and won. Takes a lot of dancing though. -- edit: ALSO, this mech loadout works best when mastered. The heat is pretty ridiculous without skill upgrades.
Hmm. Thing about this build now is I've found that the shadow-cat just rocks it better. There'll always be a special place in my heart for the kitfox though.
