COM-3A SRM2 machiengun (2xMPL 2xSRM2 XL225)

    XL225 to outrun most other lights
    2xMPL to be able to hit something at that speed
    2xSRM2+quirks+cooldown module for 8.1 DPS of backstabbing fun. More DPS an more accurate than SRM6, yet 1 tonne lighter. 1.06 cycle time means it's perfect for chainfire. Being hit every 0.5 second with 2 exploding rockets is the most aggravating thing since AC2 macros ;-)

    Less missiles in a salvo means better hitreg and less ammo wasted on misses.

    Could downgrade MPLs to MLs in exchange for XL240 and extra SRM ammo, but I don't feel it's worth it. MPLs have better hitreg and better heat efficiency.

    This is basically what I use for this variant.

    Edit: Oops, I meant to say this is basically what I use for the 1D variant. The SRMs are stacked in the chest so if you lose the arms, the missles are still available.
