    So this thing is a pretty solid DPS monster without a lot of compromises (plus it's quite a lot of fun). Each of you would probably shift armor, cooling, and ammo around to suit your tastes, but the overall idea is there.

    I agree. I've personally shifted things to fit in a fair bit more ammo as well.

    I run a STD 260 engine in order to fit more ammo. I really enjoy this build !

    Keep your final speed at 60+ It would be faster. Helps with turning too.

    I also like enipleph's equilibrium, great use of a STD 275 and gives enough ammo to keep that the potential for 1k from ammo alone.

    This guy does 800+ damage in a game, was using my variant.
    Runs out of ammo after that, savage.

    This is a great build & it looks kickass too! :)

    This is my take on it. I feel that with the ammo skills unlocked, 5 ton ammo is sufficient so I picked up two extra Heat Sinks instead.

    I run mine similar to Alik's but with a 270 instead. It hits nice and hard.

    I may have to try this over the double UAC5 / PPC variant. I was always on the fence about how good the arm PPCs actually were. One thing to consider is deadsiding left and getting a pair of LPPCs instead of the 4 medium lasers. You're still running a very cool build, but you get a bit more alpha out to the range of your AC5s. I have a hard time seeing value in those left arm MLs even if you do get rushed, because the torso agility of this mech resembles a slug.

    This really has promise. Will be testing this today unskilled. I'm doing mine with the Std280 and 6 tons of ammo, which gives me 210 rounds unskilled. I suspect that when this mech has both ammo nodes unlocked, I'll be able to remove the ton of ammo from the CT and put a TC1 in there instead to have a little more zoom and the other perks. It's plenty cool enough like this.
