At the time of writing this chassis is the toughest in the game, and it also has a nice set of right sided hard points. So what it needed was a big right fist for punching people with - 3 Large Pulse Lasers seemed a good place to start. Initially i tried to match it with a Gauss Rifle after, i had been using 3 ER Large lasers with one and thought it was would work well with the pulses. Surprisingly it didnt - Pulse laser put all their damage in a tight spot and by the time the Gauss had warmed up the target had moved and i had lost the change to add its damage to the same spot. I used to dislike AC-10s as they are the middle brother of the AC family - not particularly suited to anything, but this mech cant take an AC-20 so i gave it a try. It worked like a dream, I now had 43 points of damage landing in one spot most of the time - components starting falling off, and warhorns blasting! 60kph is a decent enough manoeuvring speed, with a Jump Jet to help, but this mech isnt about speed its about punching mechs smaller than you really hard in the chest and watching them crumple. This is the Arnold Schwarzenegger of mechs. As with all pulse laser mechs it really shines after the first half of the game when armours are thinner you almost feel guilty bullying the enemy! Since it right handed always to try to go round obstacles anti-clockwise, and when you need to retreat use your shield arm to cover you. One last note, be sure to place your shots, if the enemy twists away from you do not shoot, wait for him to turn back and place the shot on the CT. If you are careful with your heat in this way you can core out many more mechs than just splashing damage everywhere.
