With Civil War wanted to bring out the TBR-A laservom and give it a go with the update:
    1) A 64 alpha and some nice pin-point damage.
    2) All slots used and tonnage with all A omni-pods a bit of a buff to the MPL.
    3) The heat level is nice.

    YES.

I run almost identical to this; and if you play it right; it's obscene. For example; the one proper game I've played in it so far, it pulled three kills and around 600 damage while running absolutely nothing on the skill trees! Also; if you're accurate enough, firing both HLL and two MPL is enough to one-shot a light mech or, more importantly, remove the side torso off most Mediums. I one-shot an Uziel by taking out his XL with that combo.

My variation runs slightly hotter; but uses a larger tactical computer, and has a Light Active Probe just to help with countering ECM/Stealth Armor in close. Also has stock armor distribution because why not? It actually works pretty well with it.

The heat with all heavy I think is to much. The MPL are nice for when your fighting a light or if it goes to a brawl.

    5/5,
I've tried this build, and it feels like the strongest build that I've played on the Timber Wolf. Thanks for sharing! The best part is the penalty-less TBR-A left torso high mounts.

    Cheers!

I'm running Timber Wolves ever since I play MechWarrior Online as it's one of my favorite chassis and it was the first that I bought. I have never found a setup that is so well rounded and I keep trying new ones all the time.

With this, I've had several 1000+ damage games in both the group queue and the random queue. This one is from the group queue:

The biggest issue with the TBR chassis is that they nerfed the TBR-A high mount torso and the TBR-S Jump Jet torsos with those nasty torso turning speed debuffs which simply suck. This build gets around it completely, and suddenly the mech performs just great.

The Heavy Lasers take some time to get used to, but they pack a nasty punch. They can be used very well to peak from cover due to the high mount, and fire separately when you are out of range for the Medium Pulse lasers.

I also love that you have so many Heatsinks, the heat meter just flies away.

This thing is just a beauty. All slots used... all tonnage used. I wouldn't change a thing.

I go for mostly heat reduction and range.
    32 Firepower
    18 Survival (Armor left side)
    20 Operations
    10 Sensors (Left side)
    11 Aux (Strike and Cool)

    5/5,
This build revived my interest for the Mad Cat ! ! It is so strong it seems almost impossible to score less than 800 damage in a pug match.

You're lacking quite a bit in Survival that you should have. More survival = more damage dealt, and this is especially true when you've got infinite ammo.

I tried almost full Survival but I didn't think it did enof for me. Most of my mechs I go full Survival but this one I do better with more firepower.
