This is the build I have been using to combat the LRMageddon that keeps happening every contest weekend. It also works well in CW, allowing brawling or sniping, while protecting from LRMS. I personally use the ML weapon modules to increase their range and cooldown, because I am cheap(poor), and I think the quirks on this mech for the ERPPC's are fantastic already. But if you don't need AMS, you can run the Alt build.
I'll be removing the arm ML and use it like this. Got a STD290 by mistake anyway, gotta find an use for that PS : found out I already had basics + 14k exp from when I won it on a competition and then sold it, cool
Drop your engine down to a 275-285 STD and add more AMS ammo. Also consider adding slas and mg to your short range bracket, its not like you can easily use more than two mlas in conjunction with PPCs at medium range anyway.
