THE vomit laser build meta on a medium mech and high-hardpoints. Hot but deadly if you can focus components properly.

No need for jump jets: unless you really want to have the tactical advantage of shooting from the top of buildings, most of the times you have to stick with your team so you won't be able to camp a zone/building anyway, and because you have long beam duration, you simply can't poptart properly.

It is best played with a peek-a-boo style: poke with alfa strike, hide until you are back to 25-30% heat, repeat.
Needless to say you have to unlock every heat-related skill node: every heatgen, every coolrun, every heat-containment. Range is also best to max out, so you can apply full damage even at nearly 500 meters.

If it runs too hot for your taste, replace a ERML with a TC1.
Also remember that HLL have a slightly better Damage over Heat ratio compared to ERML, but they do have longer duration. Depending on the range and speed of your target, choose accordingly what to shot when you are running hot after an alfa.

If you ever happen to find yourselves in a brawl, don't panic: wait for your enemy to look at you and then fire. If the targets torso twists properly, has fire-n-forget weapons or simply you know you will spread a lot due to speed / hitboxes, go for legs. There was once a fresh assassin which attempted to get close for a brawl: it got both legs orange after my alfa. Needless to say he fled.

I've been running this exact build in casual drops (with some slight tweaks to armor values). Playing it, you feel like a Hellbringer's little brother, just trying to fit in, and not managing quite as efficiently (because not as many DHS).

This thing really does run well though. The heat of that Alpha is huge for sure, but it has enough DHS to drop it in no time. Just gotta be patient with your positioning, especially in random drops.

I could definitely see it being a beast in CW.

I have one of these and was wondering what to build out. I am going to give this a try next time I play.

I followed the advice of replacing one ERML with a TC1. I also switched the hardpoints around. If I can, I like grouping similar weapons where I will be peeking from, so I wanted both HLLs in the same shoulder.

    5/5,
Hate to admit it, but I've been running this as well.... and it wrecks shit so hard you don't recognize them anymore.

All glory to the alpha meta that narrowly avoids ghostheat because it's a broken system :D

Effectively the upgrade of the "Heavy Mover". It has a tad more alpha punch, a tad better heat and seriously less range difference between the laser types. I have been using this mech a LOT lately trying to see how playing meta affects my ranking on the Jarll's list. Both builds are frightingly strong as long as you have a team around you. Get caught alone and die, smoking hot,...
