Been having a blast with MRM+ML setups on the Hellslinger. Since the MRM30 heat nerf, this is what I've settled on as the most optimized build.



It runs very smoothly in almost any engagement. The range isn't huge, of course, but the MRMs provide a decent amount of reach, and the alpha up close is VERY satisfying! The heat is very manageable, and the DPS with even just the MRMs is quite nice.

Alternative for speed-demons. Has 5 less damage, but is also MUCH more heat efficient.

 

Another alternative: replaces two MRM20s with a 40, and uses the extra tonnage to up the engine, and get another DHS.



I personally don't know if this one is all that worth it. The heat penalty of firing both MRM sets together doesn't seem worth the extra DHS, along with the added cooldown of the MRM40. Admittedly it's faster than my original build, but it loses the 5th MLaser. It can be a nice compromise of speed and survivability, if that's your thing.
