I think they try to state a proper difference in the lead. Till now was a pure marketing thing with 0 care for a lot of ppl constant desires. For some months it will be a twist to the opposite, all long waited things will arrive, and some months later we will have a game to be proud enough, and we will still get some gift from time to time. Its the successfull customer politic of Wargaming.

 

Damn, those are pretty awesome bonuses.

I didn't think they would have ever actually released the King Crab, since Dual AC-20s on a 100 ton platform may have been overpowered, but I guess that was before the days of the Clan mechs. I'm guessing the ballistic hardpoints are going to be fairly low as they are arm-mounted.

As for the rest, according to Sarna, the AS7-S is basically an AS7-D but with two extra (rear-facing) SRM launchers. The CN9-AH is similar to the YLW with its arm mounted AC-20 but it has an LRM pack instead of the medium lasers.

All in all, a pretty swank bunch of mechs and other bonuses.

Holy crap, I was so excited about the King Crab that I didn't even notice the Vulture was being given away for the Clanners. I'm not eligible for this myself as I did not buy the Clan pack, but I guess this one was already expected anyways.

IS already paid their due.... I had them all... legendary founder, Overlord/Phoenix, Sabre, Clans... the full monty. errr...no, not a golden Mech....

This is such a good play to win people again it's scary.

 

Sad that I have to wait till October for my centurion and atlas, and December for my king crab, but damn that's still a fucking steal. By the way, I was almost in tears when I saw the CN9-AH was making a return with the king crab in tow

One thing that PGI is definitely getting high marks for is the Mech Art. They look a lot more real than the art on Sarna
