im not sure why smurfy act weird for me but this is from my in game screen it has no skill point upgrades at all with full armor upgrades this thing would be a full bloom shield mech the 4 med lasers has little to no heat, major heat would still come with the UAC20+MRM40 what it does is that usually in pugs play, the elements of having your team behind to protect your back, pushing having the elements of folks automatically shoot your center therefore back and legs armor can be shaved.
I don't like the armor on the legs (45 is really low): I'm not against shaving them, but they have really little to no meat on those bones. Anyway, you can easily gain 1.5 ton to play with by downgrading the engine to a 345 (same amount of DHS, I've stripped CASE and moved the MRM ammo to make room for the "lost" engine DHS). I would also strip some armor from the arms to the legs: some decent players will focus your legs if anything happens to hit your legs and they will be already orange... IMHO UAC20 is not worth it on any assault: it can easily spread damage even on heavies, it tends to jam and to not fire for a very long time, plus it generate a lot of heat... I would use vanilla AC20 and add the 5th and final ML for additional alpha strike, plus BEST SLOT USAGE EVER EDIT: I've noticed now that this mech has 10% bonus cooldown... That meas that it is going to be very hot anyway, so that's why I would fit a cooler and unjammable AC20.
Posted this in another thread, might as well share my take. ML all on the right side for convergence/peeking. You want to protect your right with an atlas in general. LE330 for ultimate slot usage (can take 1t of armor off the legs for an LE335 but the minimal speed increase is not worth it). Most important is optimal slot usage, plenty of ammo, and all the DHS. I've had nice things happening with the UAC20 and without the ML it isn't that hot. The ML are more of a backup for bigger alphas or as a backup when the UAC jams. ML+MRM40 are still deadly. When it doesn't jam though, the extra burst of the UAC is very nice and synergizes with the BLAAAAARGH of the MRM40.
