http://mwo.smurfy-net.de/mechlab#i=18&l=55557639818376b7b1200032557b17d89e69c22a I wanted to try something new so I tried a atlas 2 build on my atlas it worked out quite well the only problem was it gets really hot you have to manage it well. Also it should have the LBX but ATM there not so great so I just kept the normal AC10.
Hey there, welcome to MechSpecs! Please read through this link and update your thread title accordingly, then we will see about some feedback for your build, ok? http://www.mechspecs.com/forum/index.php?topic=2279.0
What Lan says. And welcome to mechspecs! And on your build, it seems a bit Hot. You would overheat in a heartbeat with this guy if you are not careful (even taken into consideration that not all weapons will be fired at the same time). Also, as a slow mech you might consider AMS, even given the LRM nerf atlas are big targets. Oh, if you put more ammo to the leg you might not need two CASE. Also the tubes on a mech matters! The RS has M(5,4) which means your SRM is going out in two volleys, which is quite annoying. I would suggest SRM4 instead. All SRM will fire in one shot, plus being lighter, less crit slot, tighter grouping. Your LRM is going out in 4 Volleys! Not quite effective with all the AMS around, you can barely damage anything. If you want it though, LRM15 would provide a bit more efficiency. Personally I would scrap the LRM alltogether though, but that is just me. Everyone have a different style. This is my suggested changes to your build. I know this is quite a crude build that I am making here, but this might make it better. Oh, if you think you do not need AMS (which is reasonable given the recent changes) you can rip it out for DHS, or reintroduce the MPLas (although I do not see MPLas is worth it on an atlas). I have reduced the ammo count you have so you do not need case anymore, move ammo around as you see fit, but there should be enough for this mech, if not too much. http://mwo.smurfy-net.de/mechlab#i=18&l=8eb44b4f4267fd7d10989d4d75dfdf8ffa5821ed Hope you like it. Try the build and see if this will give you any new inspirations!
